The PYSA Board and staff went over all of the State mandated requirements to see if the season was viable. Then they passed the information onto all the clubs within PYSA for input, All feedback was presented to the PYSA Board for review and a decision. This decision was one of the hardest they have had to make, but due to the requirements and restrictions set in place and all of the clubs' feedback, PYSA does not feel we can successfully have a Spring soccer season.

There is a general feeling among all of the PYSA Clubs that we are nearing an end to this pandemic, and the Fall 2021 season is something that we can all focus on. The PYSA staff will be meeting soon to review plans and schedules leading up in preparation for the Fall season.

While NOPO will not be participating in formal PYSA Practices, we understand that some players and coaches will choose to come together to kick the ball around and spend some much needed time with their team. While we are all for safe soccer, please understand that any such get together will not fall under the umbrella of PYSA insurance coverage, nor NOPOSC liability scope. We would also ask anyone who does opt to get their team together follow the COVID-19 protocols for outdoor sport as laid out on the County's webpage (, including face masks, temp checks, hand sanitizer, and minimal contact of ball to hands. We know this will be a disappointment for many, as it is for us. Please understand this decision was not taken lightly, and everyone's feedback helped in this decision.Thank you for your understanding during this trying time.
