Annual Coaches Appreciation Dinner

On November 16, 2023, North Portland Soccer Club hosted our annual coach's appreciation dinner at the new North Portland Double Mountain location. Each year we give a special thank you to our volunteer coaches, who are the backbone of our club and the faces of our organization. Our coaches lead practices, coach Saturday games, communicate with our families and inspire our players each season. The fact that our club is growing, is a direct result of the dedication of our coaches. At the close of the night, our coaches were gifted a custom North Portland Soccer scarf and hat.

The dinner was planned by the North Portland Soccer Board of Directors with the help from our sponsor, Darigold Fit. Darigold Fit provided pizza and drinks for the event as well as the custom scarves and hats. Josh, the President of North Portland Soccer Club said a few words about our mission and vision for the next year and years to come. The board had been doing substantial work around diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as building a sustainable organization platform for growth. With our Program Manager, Omar in place, we are excited to be embarking on indoor futsal and camp opportunities for our players; throughout the Winter and Summer off seasons.
