On January 29th, 2024, North Portland Soccer Club hosted our very first Futsal camp at Charles Jordan Community Center. With a limited number of spots available, futsal camp sold out in five days. Over 20 kids between the ages of 8 and 14 got to enjoy Futsal on a day there was no school. 

Camp was organized by the North Portland Soccer Board of Directors and led by the Program Manager Omar. Campers learned the basic rules and tactics of futsal, as well as having some practice learning new skills and ending the day with full court scrimmages. Camp was also used to share the values of the club: respect, teamwork, courage, community, and diversity. Our pillars will be shared and practiced at all future camps.
